How MCA Funds Are Put To Work To Support Our School:

In addition to the Community events hosted by the MCA, school administration, teachers and staff are eligible to request funding from the MCA to cover the costs associated with school/classroom activities or supplies as well as for costs associated with Montessori training. Recent contributions funded by the MCA in the 2025-2026 school year include:

• Pizza dinner for 100 students performing in the Black History Month evening performance

• An in-school sensory bubble experience for our 75 students in AU classrooms

• An in-school cultural experience (Irish dancers) for our 3-6 classroom students

• Field trip to Akron Acres farm for our PK & K students

• Hot Chocolate for our 6th graders on their walking field trip to Rotary Rink for ice skating

• Registration costs for a Montessori School Leadership training course attended by an Assistant Principal
